“When our actions are based on good intentions, our soul has no regrets.” – Anthony Douglas Williams
Seeker: As we say in English, “The road to Hell is paved with good intentions”. Good intentions are not enough. A lot of damage is done through ignorance and with good intentions. Sir, please elaborate it to me.
Maladkar: When our intentions are right, then results do not count. If your intentions are in right direction then even if the results are not upto the expectations, still your soul will have no regrets. This is so since the soul is now aligned with the Highest good. You may be worried about the consequences of your actions, but results of that, you should leave it to Him. A lot depends not in your hands. A lot depends on the karmic consequences that is waiting to befall a person. So worry not, if your intentions are good enough. The results anyway are and were never in your hands. Also, even if your intentions are good, always backup the actions behind the intention. If your intention is backed up by inaction, then too you will not have the right consequence of your intention. So just good intentions are not enough. Always remember, one has to be careful to see if the intentions are honorable or dishonorable. If the intentions are honorable but the consequences are dishonorable (it can happen) still worry not, for as I said earlier the results were never in your hands to begin with. Let your focus be on good intentions, then if the results are not good, your soul which knows everything will never have any regret, for it knows that what was done was in good intention only. Have good intentions and let the responsibility of the results be with Him only. If the intentions are dishonorable, then lesser said the better !!
